Gale Gregory-Laine, DO Medical Director
Main Street Urgent Care is pleased to have Dr. Gale Gregory-Laine, DO as our Medical Director and Supervising Physician. Dr. Gregory-Laine has many years of experience in the emergency room, She was born and raised in San Antonio, received a B.S. in Nursing from University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas in 1978 and worked for many years in the ER and on Faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center. After achieving her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University of Medicine and Health Science in 1993, she has been an Emergency Medicine Staff Physician at Riverview Hospital, Indiana, Huntington Memorial Hospital, California, Baylor Hospital System, Dallas, Texas, Christus Santa Rosa Hospital System, and the Methodist Hospital System in San Antonio. Dr. Gregory-Laine is also very busy raising a beautiful teenage daughter. Her years of knowledge and experience are a wonderful contribution to our clinic and community.
Mark Dedmon, PA-C, MPAS
Mark Dedmon, PA-C joined Main Street Urgent Care (formerly Boerne Acute Care Center) in January 2007 while also being the Senior Physician Assistant, Faculty Associate & Clinical Asst. Professor, University Transplant Center, The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio since April 2000. Mark began his medical career as an Army medic in 1985, completed EMT-Paramedic School in 1987, US Army Special Operations Medical Sergeants Course in 1991 and became an Army Physician Assistant in April 1997. Mark is now one of the owners and clinic manager along with his wife, Melissa (Administrative Manager), of Main Street Urgent Care since January 2013.
Beth Gardner, PA-C, MPAS
Beth Gardner, PA-C, MPAS has been an outstanding provider at Main Street Urgent Care, previously Boerne Acute Care Center, since January 2011. Beth graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A & M University, College Station and received her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Beth and her husband are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters and have lots of families and many friends in the Texas Hill Country. We are so proud to have such a devoted PA as Beth as part of the team at Main Street Urgent Care.
Megan Staudt, PA-C, MPAS
Megan Staudt, PA-C, MPAS has been a family health care provider since 2007. Megan graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health from Texas A & M University in 2002. She received her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Both Megan and her husband grew up in Fredericksburg where they are now raising their daughter and two sons. Megan enjoys college football, family weekends at the ranch, and volunteering as a member of the Gillespie County Fair Association and Willow Creek 4H. Megan is excited to be a part of our Main Street Urgent Care team continuing to serve the community she loves.
Rick Levada, PA-C, MPAS
We are so fortunate that Rick Levada, PA-C, MPAS joined our group in July 2013. Rick and his family moved to Boerne from Ft. Bragg, NC in May 2013. Rick has been a PA since 2007 specializing in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Care. Prior to becoming a PA, Rick was an EMT for 15 years. Rick and his wife have two sons that attend the local Boerne schools.

Kathy Fryburger, PA-C, MPAS
Kathy Fryburger, PA-C has been a Certified Physician Assistant since 1996. She received her bachelor of Science degree at the University of Norte Dame. She then completed her Master's Degree at Baylor College of Medicine through the Physician Assistant Program, where she graduated Valedictorian of her class.
Kathy has been board certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) since 1995 and has been licensed to practice in Texas since 1996. She holds memberships in the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Kathy and her husband, Kent, have two sons and a daughter.

Dave Polston, PA-C, MPAS
Dave Polston, PA-C, MPAS, is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center through the Interservice Physician Assistant Program in Ft Sam Houston and Ft Campbell. He served in the Army for 20 years and honorably retired from the Army in 2018 and settled in Fair Oaks Ranch, TX.
The medical highlights of Dave’s career in the Army include serving on the USNS Comfort, providing free medical care to the poor and underserved in the Caribbean as well as a tour in Afghanistan where he worked with the 101st Airborne’s MEDEVAC. Dave enjoys practicing medicine and helping his local community through acute medical care as well as coordination with the area’s physicians and specialists.
Although not born in Texas, Dave got here as fast as he could and settled in Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas in 2014. His personal interests include spending time with his wife and two children, watching football, working out and barbeque (both eating and cooking).
Allan Boutwell, PA-C, MPAS
Allan Boutwell, MPAS, PA-C joined the Main Street Urgent Care family in Dec 2017. His PA career began in 1993 when he graduated from UT Southwestern Medical Center PA Program in Dallas. He has been in practice for 26 years to include family medicine, rural health, urgent care and ER Fast Track. Prior to becoming a PA, he was a flight paramedic with the StarFlight program in Austin. He stays active in his state organization, TAPA ( Texas Academy of Physician Assistants), serving in several board positions and President from 2010-2011. One of the highlights of his career was working at the Grand Canyon National Park Clinic from 2014-2015 where he provided urgent care to visitors of the park and family medicine to park employees.
Allan has numerous interests and hobbies to include kayak fishing, woodworking/woodturning, nature photography and anything outdoors. He is all about optimal patient care, providing quality medical treatment with a good wit and smile. He truly cares about his patients and enjoys joking with them and making them laugh.
